About The Author

Mercy Masila-Achola is a seasoned leadership expert and founder of Value Connect Management Consultancy Ltd. Her working career spans over 20 years working in both public and private sector, before she ventured out as an entrepreneur in the last 8 years. In this period, Mercy has worked with high performing teams in very challenging environments and with different cultures to deliver exemplary results. She has lived and worked in 5 different countries, in 3 different continents.

Mercy is the recipient of the World Women Leadership (Middle East) Award 2019. She is the current Chair for the Services Sector at the Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) and is a Committee member of Women in Manufacturing (WiM) steering committee. Mercy has been married for 20 years to her friend and soulmate; Crispin Achola, and together they have a 17yr old son; Sean. As a person of faith, her mantra is to be a river and not a reservoir—and she wants to 'die empty.'
